You know, because liberals think public officials who don’t follow the law belong in prison (except for Obama and all other leftists who trample the Constitution at every turn)—even when it is someone defending the rule of law (and their constitutional right to free religious exercise) by resisting blatantly unconstitutional edicts from an out-of-control Supreme Court.
The legislation, authored by Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de Leon (D-Los Angeles) and sponsored by Assembly Speaker Toni Atkins (D-San Diego), reduces the threat of deportation for illegal immigrant victims of violent crime by requiring state and local law enforcement agencies to provide immigrants who have cooperated with investigations of those crimes the necessary certifications to apply for special visas.
Actual solution: Rather than ignoring our immigration laws and then having to pass new laws (why does anyone take any of our laws seriously at this point?) to protect illegal immigrants from deportation in order to solve crimes…just enforce our existing immigration laws in the first place and eliminate the problem altogether. Not rocket science.
